I was so glad blizz decided to make Durak and Rehze mag'har orcs it means corruption is slowly leaving their people just like many blood elves' eyes are changing from green to blue or yellow and Durak being strong warrior is something I like very much in orc heritage questline he was talking what if he doesn't want to be shaman like his parents

You forgot to mention Lord Malathrom who is in the catacombs under the cemetery. He's kind of like a vanilla rare and drops Spiked Collar. I'm not sure what the lore is regarding this character but the Spiked Collar was very famous back in the day during vanilla.

My guild disbanded at the end of MOP as we were strictly 10 man hc and there were too few of us to form a mythic guild. We spent six fantastic years together, completing every raid content available in Wotlk, cata and Mop. With draenor pre patch I lost something very dear to my heart, but World of Warcraft will stay with me forever just like both sons, now 10 and 13 yo whom I have with my huntress.

Elwynn forest is probably the single greatest starting zone made for an MMO to date. Something about it is both serene, dangerous, and welcoming all in one. Ill never level a new character of any race anywhere else. Goldshire is my home. If they added player housing and one of the locations was elwynn, id immediately resub and buy the new xpac

The story is pretty unrealistic though, if the city was to defend one thing, it would be their farms.

The human starter area all the way to Booty Bay are the best questing experiences I've ever had in an MMO. However I really didn't enjoy much of the rest of the world, there were too many bad zones for all the other races and beyond level 40. What I would do with a Classic + is take lots of the zones in Cata, but rework them so they feel more natural like vanilla. The problem I always had with Cata is the world feels fake, all the quests are in hubs and I feel like I'm in a themepark going from ride to ride instead of being in a world.

Aaaah - Elwynn. First laid eyes on that forest in 2005 after I'd left DAoC. 19 years later and it's still my favorite place in WoW. Like another person said: "It feels like home." For me it's Elwynn and the original Westfall zone. Love 'em. Of course I also find much of Pandaria beautiful and enjoy going back to visit my farm now and again, but I always return to Elwynn. Excellent video as always - thank you 🙂

In Highschool, back in 2004, I would often park my character by one of the lakes throughout Elwynn, raise my speakers, turn off my monitor, and set the music to loop while I did homework and studied. Elwynn was and always will be home.

So many memories there!
